Cassie has been a phenomenal leader and the heart of Genesis Learning Centers. Her passion for our mission was evident in everything she did. She led with vision, compassion, and unwavering dedication and her impact will be felt for years to come in the lives of our students, families, and staff.

Throughout her leadership, she remained deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for the young people we serve. Her strength, resilience, and belief in every student inspired all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her. She will be dearly missed.

Genesis Learning Centers

As we continue to remember our late Executive Director, Cassie Wells, we’re reminded of how compassionate and empathetic she was towards staff and students experiencing unforeseen challenges and hardships, even as she was experiencing them for herself. Addressing these difficult situations by providing assistance where possible was something that Cassie viewed as highly important for herself and for the organization. While Genesis has continuously maintained a Student Fund, Cassie oversaw the creation of a Staff Care Fund to allow for a wider impact on our Genesis family.

We’ve received many requests for information on how members of our community can contribute to Cassie’s legacy at Genesis Learning Centers. Because of her commitment to the wellbeing of staff and students, we are honored to offer the opportunity to give to the Student and Staff Care Funds in her memory.
